Last Thursday night I went along to Coast Edinburgh's blogger night, only my second blogger event in our fine capital I was slightly nervous about heading along to something by myself! The theme for the night was a magical secret garden. The store was decorated appropriately with vines wrapped round the columns and hanging from the chandeliers.
We were welcomed into the store and given a chance to look at the clothing, I was instantly drawn to the pastel shades and the lovely soft, light fabrics. It really made me wish I was a guest at a wedding this year so I could justify buying one of the dresses. I could always just buy one to wear while I do the hoovering...
After we had a chance to mingle and I had compiled a wish list (for imaginary events) in my head, we were treated to a fashion show accompanied by Erskine String Quartet. It was a nice touch having live music.
I love the print on this dress, it is also available on a skirt which I will definitely be back in to try on.
Before attending the Coast event I have only ever really looked at Coast concession stands in department stores if I have been looking for a dress for a wedding. After Thursday night's event I will definitely be back, Coast's range is so much more than just wedding appropriate outfits. I have my eye on a few of the skirts which will be perfect additions to my work wardrobe and the statement necklaces are to die for!
The night was great fun and I met some lovely new bloggers. Thank you to Emily and Sultana from Edinburgh Bloggers and Jacqueline from Coast for organising such a good night.
